We’re generally taught from a young age that something is wrong with us if we aren’t feeling good. “You’re not feeling good? Well let’s fix that. Let’s go get your favorite foods, go shopping and watch Netflix. You’ll be happy in no time.”
When we feel negatively, we resist and fight and try to escape it as quickly as possible. This is because we don’t understand what our feelings actually are, and it actually compounds the pain.
IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:
- What your feelings actually are, and what they’re not
- What your feelings are trying to tell you
- How avoiding your feelings only magnifies them
- How long a feeling lasts, and how short it can be
